Wallpaper – Not Boring Anymore
Hi everyone, lately I’ve been collecting wallpaper images and patterns and would love a second opinion, so I thought, who better than my favorite blog goers! I love colorful and explosive patterns, people tell me they’re scared or worried that using a pattern like that to cover an entire wall would be a bit overwhelming and I get it, I really do, lots of people worry about their rooms looking too intense or heavy, but believe me, sometimes that intensity is just what a room needs. Not to mention, if you add enough style to your room you don’t have to worry about hanging pictures, art, or anything else, just throw some basic furniture in there and your room is ready to go and beautifully exciting.
I would love to have some fun geometric style on my living room walls, or some kind of intense pattern filling out my hallways, but in the bedroom something a little more light and monochromatic might do the trick.
These spaces look very cool with furniture in wood tones, white, black or other contrasting color.
Another great idea is to choose a fun wallpaper that makes the space look larger than it is, check out these two designs with some fake books and ceramic plates, great right?
I love the fun of Jessica Swift patterns, one of my favorite designers.
