Pumpkins And Apple Pies
Living in Tabasco was like having summer year round, hot! The weather changed a bit during the winter and every once in a while we got really excited about wearing a light sweater and maybe even closed toe shoes, halloween decorations popping up in stores is the only real reminder that summer ending, but the leaves are always green, Tabasco is always green and love that about living there. I am more a spring and summer girl, those cold days when you don’t want to leave the house scare me, although ironically I have discovered that I am in a better mood during fall and winter, haha well, so I’m told, apparently that summer heat annoys me.
My mom has always loved fall, she says that it’s her favorite season, she loves orange and brown, dry branches and cinnamon apple scented candles were always scattered throughout the house. Event though Tabasco never really gets cold, I’ve still enjoyed that beautiful warm feeling and those yummy autumn smells all my life.
I’m not so excited about winter, but fall helps ease the transition a bit, getting out your favorite scarves and boots that you put away last spring, carve some pumpkins and eating some yummy apple pie sounds great too. Are you an autumn person?
