If there is something I really enjoyed during my first months of pregnancy, it was being able to see our little one in the ultrasounds the doctor did the first few weeks. Two of those images have a special place on my heart. With the first one, I made something colorful to frame it with and it’s hanging on our refrigerator. The second one, is when we happily found out that we were expecting a boy!

Now that this festive and cheerful time of the year has arrived, I decided to include my baby boy in the celebrations making a Christmas card with the second ultrasound I really love. I was just feeling sad for having it put away in a drawer somewhere.

You don’t need photoshop or any complicated software to make this card. Your babies ultrasound or picture, some scissors, glue, printer and scanner will be all you need.

4. Glue the ultrasound on the back of the frame and then add the Christmas hat covering your little one’s head.

Nine more weeks and we will be able to meet our little one. We can’t wait, but meanwhile we have been enjoying the preparations, the baby registry, baby shower, collecting ideas for the nursery, crafts I’ve been doing with the ultrasounds and all the memorable and exciting things that are part of the process.

And now that we’re talking about it, we had so much fun creating our baby registry a few weeks ago. The diapers were the first things we added, along with some wipes, we just knew were going to need lots and lots of those. Our favorites, the Huggies® Little Snugglers with their new GentleAbsorb* liner that provides a cushiony layer of protection to help draw mess away from the baby’s delicate newborn skin and the Huggies® Natural Care wipes with a simple and natural formula that is perfect for gentle cleaning with aloe and vitamin E.
