DIY: Make a 3D Heart Garland
This week I have spent most of my day planning some projects for the blog in the coming months. I’m also looking around the apartment for empty spots and thinking about fun projects for the nursery and living room, I have lots of ideas in mind! I just hope I get enough time to work on them before the baby arrives (crossing my fingers).
Since Valentine’s day is the closest holiday, I decided to make something adorable and fun to us in the mood. So I thought, what’s better than a garland made out of paper of hearts? Well, a garland made out of 3D super colorful paper hearts! right?
- Printer and printable
- Colorful paper sheets
- Hole punch
1. Download the printable here: 3D Hearts Printable | Live Colorful. I made one in black and white so you can print it on colored paper sheets like I did. If you don’t have colored paper sheets, I created another printable with colors included so you can print it on a normal white sheet of paper. Download the colorful one here: 3D Hearts Colorful Printable | Live Colorful
2. Cut the hearts following the lines.
3. Fold them and glue them. I added an extra rectangle to let you know what part to glue at the end of each heart.
Punch a couple holes on each side of the heart so you can pass some ribbon through it.
Now you’re ready to hang your new awesome heart garland!
You can use these 3D hearts for all sort of projects, write inside them, make a garland, arrange them around a vase as centerpiece or just give them away like that because well, they are super cute. Have fun!
