DIY: Baby Footprint Coffee Mug

I love this! DIY Baby Footprint Coffee Mug. It would be amazing to keep the memory of my baby’s feet printed forever on something I see everyday, like my coffee mug! (click through for tutorial) | Me encanta esto! Deja marcada la huella de tu bebé sobre una taza de café | Live Colorful

I was planning on making something with my baby’s adorable feet for Mother’s Day, since he is growing so fast and I don’t want to forget how tiny and cute his tiny feet are, but I wasn’t sure what to make.

Then, I discovered this personalized mug kit box buried deep in the closet in my office, I bought it a few months ago and I forgot about it until last week. The second I saw it I knew that it would be amazing to keep the memory of my baby’s feet printed forever on something I see everyday, like my coffee mug!

Making it was really easy. I just needed to follow the instructions on the box. Basically you need to make your design and when you are done, turn on the oven and put your mug in for a few minutes.

If you can’t find a kit like this, you could just buy acrylic enamel paint like this one. That way you can choose any color you want.

Since I used the kit, I just had a few color options, but it turned out great and it’s definitely a great gift idea for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day.

  1. That is just so adorable! I tried painting my son’s foot but I think he was too little when I did it because his foot was still too tense and it kept smudging the paint. I gave up. I have a hand print though. xD

    • ha ha Jax did the same thing. I tried two time before I actually could print his feet. I think the paint was too cold, but he was moving a lot! It was really funny.

  2. Me encanta!!! Ojalá acá se encontrara ese tipo de pintura… la he buscado pero no la he encontrado. Bonita semana!

    • Gracias, Rocío! No me digas, creí que era fácil de encontrar. Tendré que buscar ahora que vaya de vacaciones por allá, por que está genial y puedes hacer mil cosas con ella.
