I have seen beautiful projects with these metallic animals here and here. They look so adorable and stylish but, where can you get some?

Well, you could buy them, or you could make them yourself!!! It’s easy peasy, I promise.

MATERIAL:

To make them you only need metallic spray paint, these cheap plastic little animals and a piece of plastic or cardboard.

STEPS:

  1. Read the instruction on your spray paint before you get started and protect your workspace.
  2. Lay all the animals down and apply the spray paint on one side of them. Wait for a couple of minutes.
  3. Flip them them over, spray and wait again.
  4. Next step is to stand them up and try to cover all those spaces that you couldn’t get before.

They are going to be a bit sticky after applying the spray paint, that’s why I recommend not to touching them and letting them dry after each layer for a few minutes

When I made the party favors for my baby shower, I use Scotch super glue liquid to glue the plastic animals to the mason jars. It worked great.
