Sometimes Fall Needs More Color
Sometimes fall needs more color. Agree? Paint a few dry leaves and twigs and make a beautiful pastel garland for your home this fall.
The colors of dry nature are really beautiful, but adding an extra touch can be fun.
We actually made a similar project last year and we shared it on Instagram and discovered that you guys love the idea so much we couldn’t help but make a new version this year. This time we used pastel colors and a few extra patterns and ombre details.
We really love the idea of using nature as decoration. It’s a great way to add a warm touch to your home with elements you normally wouldn’t consider, but that look amazing.
- Dry leaves and twigs
- Acrylic paint
1. Pick up some leaves and twigs, clean them a little bit removing dust and dirt. You can use a damp cloth just clean the surface.
2. Add one or two layers of acrylic paint to the leaves and twigs. Use a toothpick to make little dots, those look really cute.
3. Let them dry for a few minutes. Use thread or yarn and the leaves and twigs one by one.
Hang your garland on the wall or in a window and enjoy this romantic and cute detail.
Here our DIY garland last year. Enjoy!
