Hello! My name is Elba, thanks for visiting my blog.
I started this new project to share the adventures of my life as an interior designer, event planner and shop owner. I love the idea of creating new things, working on fun projects and sharing with you some tips I find along the way.
I started my blog in June 2011 after moving from Mexico to Asheville, North Carolina and marrying an amazing man who I found in Chile while I was studying in an exchange program (true love history). After many road trips and other adventures we decided to settle down and here we are.
Here I am a designer, creator and friend. I want to share my most cherished photos and projects so you can be part of my adventures and inspiration. I enjoy every moment I spend working on my projects, people with whom I share ideas, the sun, air and all the beautiful things my job entails.

My dog kyra, learning about world crafts, morning coffee, fashion magazines, sketches, doodling ideas on napkins, designing with bright colors.
Things I love, Things I hate:
I love making a mess while I work and then I get angry because the house is dirty, if I don’t like the process and the product, what’s the point?
My house is full of pillows, from the moment I learned how to make them I can’t stop.
My dog is the cutest in the whole world but won’t stop barking.
I use bright colors and yes people ask me why? And I still don’t know.
I love dots and lines but something about dots just makes me happy.
Artisan crafts inspire me and all the cultures and people behind them but I also enjoy modern and new styles.
