Dare to Be Bright and Different!

Download free print, live colorful

Yesterday morning I wore one of my favorite pieces from my wardrobe, a lime green blouse with a funny collar that my mom gave me a few years ago. It’s one of those pieces that not all your friends love because it’s too bright and a bit odd, but that you get to love because it makes you feel different and adventurous.

A few years ago I would not have dared to use something like that. The idea of wearing something that would draw so much attention scared me. I used to prefer going with the flow, dress and act like most people, be neutral. I dreaded the criticism that you expose yourself to when you try something different. I’ve noticed that things have changed. I don’t know if I have become more secure or I’m just tired of not doing things out of fear of being judged.

Yesterday I wore that lime green piece with pride and that made me so happy. A bit of self love and empowerment deserve a cute frame.

You can download the picture frame that I used for my photo and add a bit of color and brightness to your special moments.

Happy for you, Elba! That’s so great to hear! I had this moment before, too when I was too shy to appear different from anybody else. But now I just keep reminding myself that as long as my doing doesn’t harm anyone and (most importantly) I’m happy with it, then why not? And thank you for the printable, I like the way you singled out your own frame! You really are born to live colorful 😉

  5. How cute are you??! Kudos to you for trying out something that makes you happy and not having what other people have to say! It’s liberating, isn’t it? Take care, Elba! <3 🙂

dare to be colorful. i like that. i want more colors in my home, i’m just scared things wont match!! lol.

    • I’m getting better about not being scared of new things. Adventures and new experiments can be fun, so definitely try more colors in your home. The worst that can happen if we try something different is that we don’t like it and need to change it again. It’s not exactly a life and death decision 😉
