DIY: Recycled Flower Pot Made Out of Clothespins

DIY: Recycled Flower Pot Made out of Clothespins via Live Colorful

This picture and these ideas inspired me to create something pretty for a new plant a friend gave to me. I had a can of tuna in the cabinet and tons of wooden clothespins, so I just needed to buy some washi tape. I ran to a paper goodies local store and found a perfect one with sweet pastel colors and patterns.

At first, I was planning on painting the clothespins in different colors using acrylic paint, it would have been great, but the washi tape was less messy and easier, really love the idea.

Materials:

  • Tuna Can
  • Wooden clothespins
  • Washi tape
  • Plant

Steps:

1. Cuts strips of washi tape and add them on one side of the clothespins.

2. Attach the clothespin around the tuna can. You are going to need 23 wooden clothespins.

3. Put the plant into your new DIY pot and enjoy your new and colorful flower pot!DIY: Recycled Flower Pot Made out of Clothespins via Live ColorfulI hope you can find some cute and colorful washi tape to decorate your clothespins. You could also use them to hang notes around your house in case you don't feel like making a flower pot. There are many ways to use this cute tape but I really like the idea of recycling, so I'm happy I found a use for this tuna can that I was going to throw away anyway.
