So I needed a cute original idea for a baby shower gift, they had already received to many different kinds of diaper bags and baby knickknacks  the last thing they wanted or needed was another jumper or baby carrier, and honestly I've been to enough baby showers with the normal gifts that I just wanted to do something a bit more exciting. So I decided to think outside the box a bit and came up with something a little different for the babies room, after all what could be better than a hand painted slightly altered family effigy.

Let me introduce you to The family Dot and their new born baby girl Polka! (FYI those aren't their real names)
