I wanted to talk about these cute dolls ever since I found mine and put it on my board in the office as part of my inspiration. I love the colors and texture of the little pieces of fabric used to make their tiny dresses. Textiles from Guatemala are so vibrant!

According to the Mayan legend, when worrying keeps a person awake, he or she should tell their worries to as many dolls as necessary. Then the worrier places the dolls under his or her pillow. In the morning the dolls have taken their worries away.

I bought mine a while ago and honestly, I've never followed the tradition the right way. Well, at least I've never put my doll under my pillow or anything like that, I guess from time to time I told her some things that concern me but only because, well, I frequently talk to inanimate objects ha ha  The colors just make ​​me feel happy and I really like thinking about the beautiful story behind them. Have you ever heard about these little dolls?
