Make a Stencil with Cristina Garay

Bathroom Makeover

Did you notice that beautiful silver pattern on the wall? This project was created by Cristina Garay from Remodelando la Casa. She actually made everything by hand, isn't that amazing? (I have to admit I felt a little lazy when I saw it)

The neutral colored wall help the orange stand out. I love the balance, the wall has texture, but the pieces of furniture are solid colors. What a perfect combination, so pretty!

If you want to try a project like this one you can make the stencil yourself (See the steps here) or you can buy a stencil as well, I have seen them in craft stores and home improvement stores.

Make a Geometric Stencil

Tip. Choose two similar paint colors to create the pattern. Any contrasting color combination would make little details stand out, but a monochromatic palette or similar color tones would help hide the little mistakes. The shiny paint is without a doubt what makes this fun bathroom so special, don't you think?
