Father's Day: Last Minute Ideas

Father's Day Last Minute Ideas + Free Printable Card via Live Colorful

Recently when I visited my parents, I discovered in an old trunk of memories a collection of doodles that I used to draw as a child. Many of those drawings were Father's Day presents, really cute. There was one that looked special, like it had been carefully colored. It was a doodle of my dad with a superhero cape, taking me by the hands as we walked through something, I think, was a park full of trees that looked like green colored cotton candy.

I woke up this morning thinking about it and I remembered that Father's Day is just days away.

I honestly feel like there are no words or gifts that would be enough to thank how much my father and mother have done for me. Sometimes with a hug and a special card I can give back a little of their love and sacrifice, sometimes I just wish I could give them more.

I recently heard about the #ThanksProject. A movement to honor all the fathers and thank them for all they have done for us. I thought that the Father's Day celebration would put us in the mood to share and participate with this great cause.Happy Father's Day

You can be part of the movement by "thanking" your parents using the hashtag #ThanksProject on your social media and you will appear in the thanks project platform and contribute to the virtual tapestry of appreciation. Also you can find resources for elderly care on their website that can be very helpful. Never hurts to keep us informed and spread the word of good causes like this.
