Kids Books We Love: My Color is Rainbow

A picture Children’s book that is creative and with a great message about kindness and acceptance.

I got a copy of  My Color Is Rainbow written by Agnes Hsu and illustrated by Yuliya Gwilym a few months ago and I truly enjoy the book with my toddler.

It's funny, creative and with a great message about kindness and acceptance that celebrates the fact that all of us can be anything we want to be.

While reading My Color Is Rainbow kids will learn the name of different colors and also, it has a bit about color psychology, because it explains how every color feels but illustrated and written in a catching and simple way.

The story is about a white arch that dreams of becoming other colors.

The book takes the kids through the fun journey of the arch while he discovers emotions and feelings and talks about the way he would feel in all those color.

At the end, he decides that he wants to be all the colors, and he becomes a perfect rainbow.

When I read My Color Is Rainbow with my toddler I reminded him that is all our different characteristics what make us special and unique at the end.

It's a cute book for your kid's collection, and the cover is so cheerful, and the best part if that the cover is so fun that you can even use it as coffee table book!

Another amazing book with a similar message is this one, How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow. It’s colorful and entertaining, and the story has a really useful message.
