How to make a flag banner

Today I woke at 6:00 am to make a some chicken broth for my sweet little dog. She has been sick for the last couple of days, I think she caught a cold or something like that. You should have heard her all night sneezing and sneezing, it broke my heart. The chicken broth seems to be working, she is actually playing with her little teddy bear at the moment YAY! mission accomplished.

Last weekend by the way, we spent the morning playing with fabric, and I said we, because Kyra loves playing with pieces of paper and fabric like they were Christmas presents. I sat and cut some squares of fabric and let her roll around in them, 5 minutes later she went to sleep, it was adorable.

The squares were for my new flag banner that I hung on the porch. Wanna see how to make them? It's super easy, I promise, just two steps.

Materials: You are gonna need some fabric, felt or pieces of paper, scissors and a sewing machine or just thread and needle.

1. First, you need to cut lots of squares using the fabric, felt or the pieces of paper. I used fabric. You can also buy precut fabric quilting squares.

2. Fold them in half to make a triangle. Then, start sewing and connecting those triangles in the middle.

Leave some thread on each end to hang them. I made one purple banner, one orange and a big one combining the two different colors, I love it.
