How to Decorate a Small Balcony

How to decorate a small balcony (Como decorar una terraza pequeña) | Live Colorful

I spent the weekend getting the balcony ready for summer. After we moved to this new apartment, we totally forgot about it, it was winter and just a few weeks before my son was born.Things are better now and we are so ready to enjoy the outdoors since the days are starting to feel warmer and nice.

We also discovered that my son loves being outside, so the balcony will be a place where we will spend a lot of time in the few next months. We are so excited to be able to enjoy it and I can't wait to drink my coffee and read during the mornings outside.

I bought a palm plant and a few hostas that I planted in terra cotta planters. I painted the terra cotta planters last Friday with a cool drip paintin technique and they turned out great, it was also a lot of fun!

The colors on the pots adds a fun twist to the decor and the plants make the balcony look happy and alive.

When I planted the hostas, I used some of the amazing products from SCOTTS MIRACLE-GRO and ORTHO & Round-Up.

I fill half of the planters with the potting mix, then I add the hostas and add an extra layer of the mix on the top and around the edges to make sure the plants are in place and everything is covered. Miracle-Gro Potting Mix is easy to use and I'm so excited to see my plants grow healthily because I have had a great experience with this product in other pots and planters. Like I remember how gorgeous my mums flowers were back in North Carolina, they were so colorful and big!

With the plants and a few simple accessories like cushions, candles and adding some color to the planters, I created a balcony I really love that makes me feel happy and excited about summer!s
