DIY: Valentine’s Day Doodle Cookies
Doodle on your cookies and decorate them for your boyfriend, husband, friends or use them as a way to entertain the kids and let them create their own designs. They’ll have a lot of fun!
Since the idea of baking my own cookies scares me a bit, I looked for them in the grocery store. I found a package of Oreo cookies covered in white chocolate and I knew they would be perfect for this project. I wanted to doodle on them, write quotes and paint on them watercolor style using food coloring and markers.
Tip. If you can’t find these cookies, you can easily cover normal Oreos or any other kind of cookie melting white chocolate chips on the stove and dipping the cookies in it. Let them dry in the refrigerator for one or two hours. Take them out and they are ready to be decorated.
For the doodles, I used a normal brush from the craft store and food coloring dissolved in water. I started doodling and making marks kind of like watercolors. I also found some awesome food edible color markers that helped me doodle shapes and write words and quotes.
I like this DIY idea for Valentines Day because it’s cheesy and simple. You can decorate these cookies for your boyfriend, husband, friends or use them as a way to entertain the kids and let them create their own designs. They’ll have a lot of fun!

Don’t stress much about them looking perfect, the important thing is relax, color and have fun.
